Rollups, a European thing, but we the rits take it more seriously. Can be difficult to get baccy out side the UK. Here's your essential guide to baccy availability.

Gran Canaria

El Courte Inglais. Stocks Golden Virginia. They have "Smoking" brand papers, there longer and wider than your standard rizza. Nice and thin though. We took to tearing a strip of paper off them to make them narrower.

St Lucia

Papers are available Everywhere, this is land of the big fat joint. However baccy is available only in bulk from duty free shops. Take your passport, or blag it. Golden Virginia and Old Holbern is available by the Kilo in Place Caranage by the cruise ship dock on in Castris. If you find the other duty free shops to the north of the harbour, you can buy in packs of 250Grammes.

Venezuela

Rolling in Los Testigos
Rolling in Los Testigos

Not a chance!

Bonaire

Drum and Van something available, but only medium weight papers, no nice light weight papers.

Aruba

Samson available, but only medium weight papers, no nice light weight papers.

Panama

Neigh fookin chance. But ye can get papers. And pipe backy (eught)

Galapagos (Equador)

Unless you see a figure with the arse of a goat, horns and a pitch fork come charging past on ice skates shouting "I'm late for work". Don't get your hopes up.

French Polynesia

Actually there's little but Roll ups in French Polynesia. Usually Bison, in a square waxed packet about the size of 20 king size. The price is not pretty. 500-800 cfp thats £3.30 to £5.30 for 35 grammes. Not good. The problem is not availability its the papers. The only papers available are, ungummed unfolded and possibly indian in orign. They have an elephant on them. They're not good, they have a tendency to come unraveled at critical times. They also unravel more the thinner you roll em. Because of the naff packets keep an old pouch to transfer it to. Can make a mess of your boat so do it on deck.

Cook Islands

Joy oh Joy, proper papers "Zag", packs of a 100. Rizzla filter tips and backy galore. I've got "Horizon Regular" not tried it yet. Available at the petrol station across from the wharf in Rarotonga. Contributes to my opinion of Rarotonga as one of the best places in the world.

Niue

Unfortunately I was only in Niue for a weekend, and therefore everything was shut. Its likely however that baccy will be available.

"Port Royal" appears to be the baccy
available in large area's of the
South Pacific. Its a bit weird.
"Mellowed" whatever  the hell that is,
with Rum and Wine

Tonga

Yes, "Port Royal" 50gram packs available, but not widely. Visit a few "Chinese" stores till you find it. I did ask a woman in a Chinese shop about filters. She understood the question (I think), which means you might find filter tips if you search. Vava'au has a backpackers, and budget accommodations. So I imagine there would be a good place too look.

Fiji

Port Royal Baccy again. No problem with availability, no filters so far.
