GPS TrackMAKER

Allows Downloads and uploads of waypoints trackas etc to a wide variety of GPS and variety of file fomats great for getting data and converting. Free version is all you really want as this is a lubber's tool but suports almost everything a growing bouy could want.

GPS Action Replay

GPSAR is a GPS analasys tool, built by a windsurfer it allows you to replay a race or training session with VMG graphs perfomace etc. Doesn't connect to a GPS you will have to use other software to get the data.

GPICsync

Goes through a directory of photos and tags them with GPS coordiantes as per GPS track file specified. Also creates a google earth file with links to your pictures. Bit fiddly to use, wish it would scan sub dirs.

Tide

God Bless Maggie Thatcher privatised the English Tide precictions which is why there's prescious little free tide soft for the UK. Unlike the US. Be CAREFULL with tidal software. Just having the clock on your pc reading the right time is NOT enough. It needs to be set to the right timezone for you and maybe where you looking. Use with brains and caution.

Winxtide is the windows port of a bit of free sofware for linux. Its coverage is good world wide inc South Pacific Isalnds. Its coverage of the UK is limited due to bloody Thatcher. Xtide availabe for linux, and someones done xtide for mac.

This is an America website with its own sofware and download system that allows you to view and download grib weather files for the whole world. Pretty damn good usually. Requires windows and .net

Allows Viewing of grib weather files, and some manual routing. For full routing you need to pay.
