"And so the problem remained; lots of the people were mean, and most of them were miserable, even the ones with digital watches"

just say "Fuck off Google"

Wearable Tech - AKA digital watches

I keep hearing stories about the new iWatch, which many people are excited about. Even though it doesn't exist.

Woopy it will be shite, that's why years after the rumours started, we've still not seen one, its cos someone saw the prototype and thought naaaa.

The Wrist Watch was a miniaturisation of the older pocket watch. Now when all it did was tell the time, wrist watches (even digital ones) are fine. I stopped wearing one about 15 years ago. Same time as I got my first mobile phone.

We've gone back to pocket watches, if you ask anyone the time they'll pull out there phone and look. Like a Victorian*. A Pocket watch you can watch TV, go on face book, read email etc on. Average screen size has been going up. What's more phones can replace a desktop pc for a lot of fuctions, in some case they're better, sharing photos with mates is an obvious example. Hell I can fix windows servers with mine.

"talk like a pratt" Looking at the video left - very slick, but it fails to mention, battery life, google's total inability to recognise even the most basic phrases, or any phrase at all in back ground noise. Siri may be better, but I've never seen (heard) anyone use it. I've tried google voice recognition, if you ask it to navigate to the local park "East point" it says "did you mean free porn" - Hairy muff....

In short I am un enthused.
