Launch Video

Yeeeee Haaaaa. This video was shot by Roddy, of my self and Paul launching in a bit of swell off Brighton Beach. It conveniently illustrates an article I was writing on High Wind High Wave Sailing

Someone I sent it to couldn't play it. He's got a nice PC running windows XP, and therefore Windows Media Player, so its not surprising it don't work. Its a Motion JPEG video compression codec of some sort. Mplayer managed it fine, but it would. Windows media will probably do something irritating like play audio only. See my video help page if you get stuck.

It doesn't really show how rough it was very well. This one does better but doesn't make me look good, which deflates my ego. Landing back on the beach Video
